So maybe I'm not the most brilliant cook but since I got here my cooking has been lots better. I've done some really nice food. But my baking is not working at all. I can't do bread, buns, chocolatecakes.. nothing! But after talking to some really intelligent family members I realized that I'm not the problem. The oven is. Back home in Sweden we had a normal oven but here it is a gas oven. Have you ever tried baking in a gas oven? It doesn't matter what you do because it all fails somehow. Today I decided to do brownie, with an English recipe made especially for a gas oven. (I've never done brownies before that's why I chose it, it's easier to be disappointed if you know how well they usually turns out.) Two and a half hours later they were ready to be eaten. I have to say that I hadn't failed completely, they were quite alright. But nothing special really. If I'd got them from a nice neighbor I'd be quite happy, but they were so not worth all my work. And do you know what else they weren't worth? My left pinkie finger! Yes, that's the one I burnt so hard it started to bleed. Has that ever happened to you? Well before today it had never happen to me. Unfortunately I can't give Sweden a point for this, because it's not any credit to Sweden. I almost lost a finger but congratulations England, you just lost yourself a point. Oh and by the way, it rained today on my way to the bus, brilliant ;). Sleep well everybody!

Hmmm, då kan man säga att Du "jobbat på egen hand" =) Det blir lätt skador om man inte är van vid redskapen ( ugnen ) eller situationen i sig själv.. Ha en härlig dag =)
